The ultralight flight is an extraordinary way to discover the stunning Himalayas and heart-touching “Bird’s eye view” of the most beautiful scenery of green forests and meadows, heavenly scenes of lakes and rivers and Pokhara valley. Ultralight is a very light aircraft which has no window and seats for only two persons, including a pilot and a passenger. It is powered by engines and can reach very close to the mountain peaks.
The ultralight flight is available only in Pokhara. The main reason to choose Pokhara valley for Ultra-light aircraft is that of its proximity to the mountains, and the scenic lakes. Ultralight flights started in Pokhara from 1997 AD and to be the first in South Asia. The duration of the flight can be of 15 Minutes, 30 Minutes, 60 Minutes or 90 Minutes as per the client's wish and is available from 6.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to sunset in the evening. The best season for flight is from September to May since the sky remains open.
