Pashupatinath Temple Situated 5 km east of the Kathmandu on the side of Bagmati river, Pashupatinath Temple is the holiest Hindu pilgrimage site in Nepal. Every year thousands of visitors come here to visit the temple of Lord Shiva, which is richly ornamented in pagoda styles, and created scared linga fascinates throughout the world. Pashupatinath temple is enclosed with the other so many small temples dedicated to other deities is really amazing to witness. Pashupatinath Temple was built by King Bhupatindra Malla in 1697AD. The architecture of the temple is really amazing as its roof is made of golden plate, doors are made of silver and woodcarvings of the finest pagoda.
